Residential Services
Greystone House, pictured above, opened in 1979. It was the first group home in New York State for people with Autism. Our groundbreaking program was the first to provide residential support in a community environment. It was the first time people were taken out of traditional “institutions” and instead offered to live in cozy, welcoming surroundings.
Greystone homes are all Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs). Individuals living in these homes strive for self-sufficiency and meaningful work, and enjoy participating in a variety of community activities.
