Angela shared how essential it is to have community partners who are committed to providing work sites for individuals, helping to foster meaningful connections and real-world experiences. She highlighted collaborations with organizations like Meals on Wheels in Dutchess County, where individuals not only help deliver food but also gain valuable skills using tools like iPads to support their work.
Angela noted that Greystone Programs strives to secure a minimum of four community work sites each year, ensuring diverse opportunities for the individuals we support. Looking ahead, she shared an exciting new initiative: “Little Libraries,” a project where individuals will design and build small library boxes, choose locations for them in the community, and use technology to track how often the library doors open, providing insights into how many people are accessing the books.

Melissa’s donation like others helped Greystone Programs reach our goal at the 32nd Annual Wine Tasting & Auctions that took place Sunday September 29, 2024 at Milea Estate Vineyard.
